Today, we are happy to introduce our newest product line. This particular line is designed, from the ground up, to be both PDF and Print-On-Demand available. Each one of these books are massive collections of information specifically for one game system. For example, Powers of the Zantares Cluster.

Our first product in the works is Tome Magnific: Powers of the Zantares Cluster. This product is designed to support the new Starfinder Role-playing Game and contains a ton of options, including:

  • 25 New Ships
  • 20 Enemies with combat details
  • 20 Outposts (including planets, space stations, and solar forts) with descriptions and game mechanics
  • 10 Fully detailed NPCs for the heroes to interact with
  • 10 New playable character races
  • 6 maps, covering the Zantares Cluster as a whole and as individual empires
  • 5 empires with descriptions, histories, and military philosophy

Although this product is still in development, it currently clocks in at 88 pages.

Line Update – Extras!

Extras! are one of our most popular product lines. They bring groups of heroes, villains, or even townfolk together for several different systems. Currently, we have Extras! available for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, 5E, and Mutants and Masterminds.

Beginning in August, we will also have products available for the Starfinder Roleplaying Game. We are very excited to preview a few of them with you.

Extras! Crew of the PAS Guardian

This book focuses on a party of heroes that explore various star systems searching for resources, planets to colonize, or new lifeforms to trade with. The crew includes a human captain, cyborg security officer, gnome engineer, halfling medic, and an elven arcane officer.

Extras! Brimstone Bandits

This book focuses on a group of humanoid pirates that plunder trade routes from a hidden asteroid base. They include a minotaur captain, bugbear shaman, a pair of orc brutes, and a kobold saboteur.

Extras! Ships of the Planetary Alliance

This book departs from previous extras by focusing on vehicles rather than characters. It will include the full details of eight ships of differing capabilities. From a cheap small transport to an advanced carrier there will be ships, including names, classes (like the Summoner Class carrier), and full histories to include in your campaign.

We also have a free release planned to celebrate the new Starfinder Role-playing Game.

And don’t worry, there are several books in the works for several game systems.

Do you know Jean Baum?

Do you know Jean Baum? Come inside for an introduction.

Jean is our youngest author and joined the D3 team for a special project. When we decided to create a product focusing on super-heroic teenagers, we needed someone who understood the trials and tribulations of modern adolescent from their point of view. We recruited a teenager to write the backgrounds of these heroines (NPC or PC characters). She turned fifteen just prior to the release of Extras! Schoolgirl Sidekicks, super-powered by M&M.

Jean has not had as much time to write as she did last year. Currently, she is attending college and should have her Associate’s Degree before she turns 17. She is also learning to drive, and in her usual gung-ho fashion, she started with a manual transmission in a car that is almost as old as herself. Even though it is summer, she is taking four college classes and is looking for a part-time job.

Jean still finds time to game with friends and usually plays Pathfinder twice per week. She also GM’s regularly and participates in several local conventions, including Salt Lake Gaming Con, Salt Lake Comic Con, Fan X, and SaltCon. At these events, she draws the attention of other young gamers and has helped spread the hobby to the next generation.  If you ever want to boost the traffic to a booth at a convention of
