The Diamond District was in a shambles Monday night, after Protection League member Electrode used his powers to thwart a heist. A group of masked thugs armed with military grade weapons charged into one of the street level diamond dealers on north side of 47th street. None of the three employees inside the small shop were seriously injured in the attack, though all were bound with duct tape and the same type of heavy-duty zip ties issued to the New York City Corrections Department. The robbers moved through the store, pulling safes and display cases out with their bare hands, and tossing them into a large rental truck out front. Before the NYPD could arrive on the scene, Electrode, the well-known masked vigilante appeared and began wrecking havoc in the street. After a brief battle between the super strong robbers and the electrically charged crime-fighter the street covered in broken glass, smashed truck parts, and the glint of loose diamonds. After the fight, Electrode left the battered and smoldering criminals to be dealt with by the police while he held an impromptu press conference on the street. Neither this reporter nor any of the others from major news sources was able to get a question answered by the so-called hero, however lifestyle and celebrity gossip reporters were able to pose several questions. For further details, see Jose Valdez’s report in the Celebrity Hero Watch section in the City Living section of this paper.
The bane of dungeon masters everywhere. The party takes interest in what was, until that moment, a minor NPC. Now suddenly they are stalking the person, asking one hundred questions, and putting more into the encounter than you ever dreamed of. The best part, they are bringing to life some role-playing that you thought was thrown by the way side. Only you don’t have a clue what to put together.
The best part of Extras! They are inexpensive NPCs that are all ready for you, including motivations.
Take, for example, Zanat from the Extras! Unusual Townfolk (for both 5E and Pathfinder). He is a conman on the run. He appears to be a powerful wizard. In truth, he uses magic items and his own minor capabilities to enact this illusion. His various schemes involve performing and selling “magical elixirs” to rich merchants and adventurers. Although he is hiding from the regional guards, he may take an interest in any strangers to the village.
Is your campaign a bit “taller” than that? In our Extras! Mythic Giants (CR 15 to 20) for Pathfinder, Nernuk is the oldest of the leaders of the Imperium Gargantum. He joined the cause of Karakanos in hopes of establishing a lasting empire for all giants. He has seen the destruction caused by the advance of humanoids for over three centuries and has decided to strike back. Karakanos gives the old stone giant hope where previously there was none.
Now, for the deal… all of our Extras! are 50% off through the rest of Cyber Week from our website.

We took our best selling “Extras!” and applied it to our new supplements for M&M, “Quantum Collapse!” and here is the result. Meet Hurricane, a former football player turned meteorologist.
In a universe with infinite possibilities, there are some interesting phenomena. What if a super-hero existed within several different realities? How would he advance in power if the energy from his parallel identities was spread amongst the survivors? How would he be different in a world where the American Revolution never happened? What about if the Allies lost World War II?
Hurricane is presented at power levels 6, 8, 10, 12, and 16. Additionally, see how his world would be different with four alternate world histories. Hurricane is ready to be a friend or a foe in your Mutants and Masterminds game, featuring the Quantum Collapse campaign setting.
Are you a lover of all things Mutants & Masterminds (from Green Ronin Publishing)? Are you a superhero fanatic that needs a new world to play in?
What if there were parallel universes endlessly stacked upon each other like pages in a book? What if there were millions of versions of you, spread out through out the multiverse? What if someone figured out how to make you more powerful… by eliminating those parallel “yous”? Welcome to QUANTUM COLLAPSE, a new table-top roleplaying setting built on the Mutants & Masterminds 3rd Edition rules system. In QUANTUM COLLAPSE players will be portraying super-powered heroes in a world just discovering the ability to explore and manipulate the power of the multiverse. QUANTUM COLLAPSE brings the power of the multiverse to your gaming table, but be careful! Somewhere in the multiverse, your hero is on someone’s hit list… maybe even his own!
The flood of electricity reorganized her brain, granting her powers beyond the ken of regular humans but also drove her mad. Donna was no longer content to be a poor, struggling student researching the music of the past; she wanted to be rich, famous, and make the music of the FUTURE!
DISCO-rd is brash, bold, and narcissistic, just like the music that she loves. She embodies the self-centered hedonism of 70’s disco. The electrical shock to Donna’s brain gave DISCO-rd telekinetic powers. She can manifest these powers as either a blast of sonic power she calls Musical Disco Dynamite, or as a hypnotic, distracting pattern of shifting colored lights she calls Video Lightshow.
New for our Extras! line are five villains for the Mutants and Masterminds game. From the author, Curtis Baum:
Hi Everybody, and welcome to the D3 Adventures 2016 Winter Preview! We have some great products coming out this quarter.
From Curtis Baum’s lines, we have the recently released Extras! product Mythic Giants. In concert with that, Curtis is releasing a giant-themed Tangent! mini-adventure, Temple of the Titan Lord, and Let Sleeping Giants Lie, a full-length giant-themed adventure for Pathfinder. Later in the quarter, Curtis is shifting gears with Extras! Cosmic Criminals, a Mutants and Masterminds collection of villains. This quarter should also see the first release in a new line, Rcane’s Guide to Fantastic Races.
Campaign Toybox has some new releases by Joe Davis being released this quarter to add options for your Pathfinder campaigns. Look for Encore Performance in February, featuring more masterpieces and spells for Bards including a collection of themed spells for the Lightning Seeker Bard. In March, we’ll have Weaponmaster’s Chakram, a themed collection of fighter-subclass archetypes that uses Chakrams as their primary weapons.
For those that are fans of Mutants & Masterminds, releasing under the Super-Powered by M&M license, Jim Cook is working feverishly to finish the art and layout of our Quantum Collapse setting for the Mutants & Masterminds system, with an eye toward release this quarter.
And finally, the Universal Pool System Players Guide and Campaign Companion books are both being edited and revised. We’re hopeful they will be ready for release this spring.
